Child Abuse Prevention Services

Provide school-based prevention services at elementary and middle schools grades TK through eight, including workshops for students and teachers/educators to identify and express feelings, how to establish personal boundaries and coping skills, and how to identify safe people to approach when feeling uncomfortable. Includes Child Sexual Abuse Treatment and Prevention (CSATP) services to children who have experienced sexual abuse and build parenting skills to support children.

Child Abuse Prevention Program

Provide support in two elementary schools within the Franklin McKinley School District, providing tiered age- appropriate prevention education to students pre-K through 6th grade. Six interactive lessons to teach about personal safety, boundaries, and seeking help focused on communication, personal boundaries, recognizing boundaries, and understanding sexual harassment. Includes sexual abuse training for educators, restorative practices, and education and outreach to parents via newsletters to create awareness of resources available.
